“Paul was an excellent and patient tutor who helped me gain a grasp and retain Biblical Hebrew functions often taken for granted by native speakers. He was excellent in really explaining in depth the Binyanim and how the different stems interlink so that I became familiar with the patterns and learned how to recognise words by their diacritics or surrounding context. I unexpectedly performed well in my final exam and achieved a first in my course largely because of his style of tutoring which was big on repetition and recognising roots, stems (verbal forms), prefixes and suffixes, and common sentence structure (nouns, adjectives, etc)”
